Count the weekdays and observed U.S. federal holidays between two dates. A useful starting point for travel, leave and project planning.
What is counted?
The start date is excluded and the end date is included. Business days are Monday through Friday, minus observed federal holidays. Calendar days and weekend days are shown separately. A holiday that falls on a weekend is counted on its observed weekday instead. For example, a Saturday holiday may be observed on the preceding Friday.
This is a general planning estimate, not a legal or payroll deadline calculator. State holidays, employer closures, school schedules, half-days and local exceptions are not included. Check your own schedule before making consequential plans.
Dates follow the U.S. Office of Personnel Management holiday schedules. Results are calculated on your device; entered dates are not sent to Daymark.
