When do the clocks change?

In most of the United States, daylight saving time begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

Where does daylight saving time not apply?

Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe it. U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands also stay on standard time. The Navajo Nation in Arizona observes daylight saving time.

What should I check?

Devices with automatic time settings usually update themselves. Check wall clocks, travel plans and meeting times across time zones. The change happens at 2 a.m. local time, so an event spanning the change can be confusing.
